In this section, we have tried to find and locate the best resources, internal and external, to help you engage your students in an environment that supports their learning. We hope to provide you with the most recent research about learning, curriculum, pedagogy, brain development, and socio-cultural influences. We have also tried to include web links to sites which have high quality examples for classroom activities and exercises. Additionally, we have included information to help you evaluate whether your students’ learning is being enhanced by your use of the aforementioned resources and information. Please do not hesitate to add more discipline-specific ideas–activities, examples, scenarios–and research findings to make your teaching more effective. We look to you to enrich the pages in this interactive handbook.
