Diversity and Multiculturalism

One of SCSU’s Learning Commitments is Global and Cultural Understanding out of which stems an outcome that students who graduate from SCSU will be culturally and globally sensitive and competent individuals.

Resources to create curriculum and instructional strategies that reflect the needs of all students regardless of race, gender, class, ability, ethnicity, culture or other background status can be obtained from a variety of center and initiatives.

Additionally, CETL provides a number of resources and events that reflect diverse cultural and other perspectives. CETL also sponsors or co-sponsors events on campus such as a Faculty Learning Community on Anti-Racist Pedagogy.
