Remember to respond to all prompts below.
Write a 3-5 paragraph narrative on your proposed topic for your Critical Annotated Bibliography (This is the same topic as the one for your Multiple Source Essay in ENGL 191). Your topic should stem from the group topic you’ve been working on, and must relate to some aspect of social inequality (based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, economic class, ethnicity, citizenship, ability, etc.) within your social institution (criminal justice; housing and neighborhoods; education; economy, employment, or workplace; or health and health care). Go ahead and get all of your thoughts out; they don’t need to be fully developed or reasoned at this point! In your reflection, include the following:
- What you already know about your topic and where you learned it
- Your current viewpoint and what biases you might have that will affect the way you address the topic or issue
- What you’re most interested in studying and learning about and what interests you about this topic
