Currently, the Integrated Statewide Records System (ISRS) is used every day to perform finance, human resources and student-related services across the Minnesota State system, including St. Cloud State. However, Minnesota State has long recognized that ISRS is reaching its technological end of life and needs a technology landscape that enhances the educational experience of our students in ways ISRS was never designed to provide.
NextGen is the project that will ultimately create a new technology landscape for Minnesota State. The NextGen Project includes the implementation of Workday, a cloud-based system designed to meet the technology needs of organizations like Minnesota State colleges and universities. The Workday implementation will be delivered in two overall phases beginning with Finance and Human Capital Management (human resources-related) areas in July 2024, followed by student-related areas.
With the implementation of Workday Finance and Human Capital Management coming up this summer, the team at SCSU helping coordinate local activities wants to present key updates and answer questions to the best of our ability to help our campus prepare for the transition.Because this is a Minnesota State-led project, we may not be able to answer all questions and will post answers to questions on the SCSU NextGen webpage as we receive them.You are welcome send questions ahead of time toNextGenSCSU@stcloudstate.edu. That will give us time to contact Minnesota State proactively.
