Munsinger/Clemens Gardens
Munsinger and Clemens gardens are situated on the banks of the Mississippi River, opposite from campus. This is a beautiful area to take a walk. Enjoy a unique botanical experience along the gardens’ wonderful walkways. It’s a great spot for photos!
Lake George
Lake George is one of the main attractions in St. Cloud. Lake George is busy with outdoor activities year-round, whether itβs jogging on the paths, fishing, ice skating, or paddle boats on the lake. Lake George is also a great spot to have a picnic.
Quarry Park and Nature Reserve
Quarry Park and Nature Preserve is the largest park in the Stearns county parks system. It is filled with amazing views, local history, and outdoor activities. Park activities in hiking trails, trout fishing, biking, swimming and rock climbing. Locals love this hidden summer spot. The water is very deep, so we recommend safety devices if you are not an experienced swimmer. The quarries make a refreshing swim spot with their cold water.
Stearns History Museum
Stearns History Museum is a great place to learn more about the history of St. Cloud. The museum is also located in a nature park that consists of flower gardens, ponds, and walking trails. If you love nature and history, this is a great place to visit.Riverside Park
Riverside Park is situated close to the Mississippi River and is walking distance from campus and Munsinger/Clemens Gardens. Riverside Park has a picnic shelter, disc golf course, playground, splashpad, and tennis courts.
