St. Cloud State University’s Multicultural Student Services presents the 13th annual Power in Diversity Leadership Conference — Emerging from the Pandemic: Resilience and Reinvention — Jan. 27-29.
This year’s conference is offered both in-person and virtual. It is focused around hope and the future despite the challenges that we have been through and may remain. The conference provides a space for exploration and facilitation of these discussions and supports the personal growth and leadership skill development of college students of color and underrepresented students.
This year we are honored to host three speakers and a performer who through their experiences and knowledge of leadership and social justice are sure to inspire and re-energize all who attend. Conference proceedings include opportunities for discussion and leadership development.
In-person attendees have access to the Diversity Job and Internship Fair and Graduate School Fair 1-4 p.m. Jan. 28 in-person in Atwood as a way of learning how interest in social justice can translate into careers that can change a life, a community, and the world. A COVID-19 vaccine clinic will also be available during the conference for in-person attendees who wish to be vaccinated.
The conference is free to attend and open to all. The virtual conference is limited to the keynote addresses and workshops.
