The TED Global 2012 conference is going on now in Edinburgh, Scotland. The theme is “radical openness” and this video does a great job at getting us excited for what the presentations will bring.

The cult of TED
This week I presented on Social Media Tools at the Staff Development Conference 2012. One of the topics mentioned briefly was TED Talks (TED stands for Technology, Entertainment and Design). The very next day the BBC News published an article on “The cult of TED” discussing the growing following of the site. I strongly encourage anyone who hasn’t taken time already to look over their content to do so!
