- Is it important to be counted in the census because it allows for the state to have money based on the amount of people counted. It is also important because we could lose the 8th seat and it would allow for unfairness.
- The people who are often uncounted are young children, homeless people, etc. Some people wish not to be counted because they may not know what the census is or have some negative thoughts towards the government. The impacts caused by people not being counted are that we could lose the 8th seat. Another one is that the districts would fill up with about 100,000 more people.
