hello everyone and happy holidays, I know its been along time since I last post but I am back .
todays topic is about clean water. you know I really thought to myself what will happen to me if i was stuck in a desert and had no clean water to drink or if at home I opened up the fossette and the water was not clear what you I really be able to do.
I was able to do some research and I was able to find some great resources . according to the CDC there are a few ways to make sure you are consuming clean drinkable water. this few steps you are able to do it anywhere .
- Filter it through a clean cloth, paper towel, or coffee filter OR allow it to settle.
- Draw off the clear water.
- Bring the clear water to a rolling boil for 1 minute (at elevations above 6,500 feet, boil for three minutes).
- Let the boiled water cool.
- Store the boiled water in clean sanitized containers with tight covers.
when we consume dirty water we don’t know what kind of germs we letting inside our body . water can transmit many diseases back in 2017 almost 1.6 million died from contaminated water. take if from me dirty water can cause a lot more harm than you think. growing up I got really sick from drinking unclean water. I never knew that with just a few steps I would be able to make unpurified water clean. you can make your own filter water that means no more bottle water no more plastic. you ca make clean purified water yourself.
I know that some of you may think that buying bottle water can fix it all but I don’t know about you but the pandemic really taught me a lot . basic things like battle water is no longer guarantied to us. with covid I have had times that I went to the store and there was no more water. if only I knew that with just a few basic things I can get my own clean water. if you did not learn anything today from my post I want you to at least remember clean water started with you.
I want to thank you for your time and until next time . have a great Christmas and a happy new year.
