In early February, St. Cloud State Higher Education Administration graduate Dr. Derrick Lindstrom earned the distinction of having his dissertation research featured in a HigherEdJobs article. The February 3rd article – Getting Hired as a Manager When You’ve Never Managed – was not Dr. Lindstrom’s first time in the limelight for his work. Dr. Lindstrom has been a regular contributor to the Marketplace podcast, offering expertise on the interconnections of higher education economics, the labor market, and workforce development. And in 2018, the Minneapolis College Academic Dean was honored with the Christine M. Imbra Innovative Leadership Award, which recognizes dedicated professionals who demonstrate leadership and innovation in the field of higher education.
