Hello, my name is Khalif Hassan.

I am a GA at the office of the higher education leadership and administration.

My GA duties include:

• Assisting with the recruitment process
• Monitoring social media posts
• Attending office meetings
• Engaging with the multicultural office to understand the resources available for a diverse range of students and student groups
• Contributing to a project under the supervision of Dr. Emeka Ikegwuonu to identify:
  • How students are connecting to institutions
  • How we can better help them navigate the institution
  • How we can improve their relationships
  • If they need access to resources

Experience:

As a GA, I interact with various offices and departments, attending meetings and expanding my experiences around the understanding of their provision of services to students. I have also contributed to our program’s tremendous success by providing feedback on how to better engage students at our institution – both international and domestic students.
