Question: How do I dismiss or restore News Items?Answer: https://d2l.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1299
Note that individual users control which items to dismiss from or restore to their view. For example, if a teacher dismisses a News item, it still displays to students. This feature can be a little confusing because the icon for dismissing is an “X” which most often means “delete.” In this case, the “X” simply means “remove from display” and there is an option to restore the item back into view. |
Issue: How do I set the correct responses to quiz questions and how can they be weighted?

ssue: What does the “Auto-Submit” quiz submission type mean?

Issue: When grading an individual quiz attempt, you have to go to the top of the page to click Recalculate, then to the bottom of the page to click Save.Solution: Use keyboard shortcuts to move from top to bottom of page in D2L. This can be useful on other D2L screens as well.FAQ: https://d2l.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1330
This issue with the Quiz “Recalculate” and “Save” buttons being on opposite ends of the screen has been submitted to D2L and we’ve asked to have both buttons placed together on the top and bottom of the screen. In the meantime, use this workaround to avoid the excessive scrolling. |
