Does Technology Ruin Relationships?

It doesn’t matter who people are with or where they are, people are always on their cell phones. Two people can be on a date and one (or both) people are going to be on their phones checking social media or texting someone else. It can also be a group of people walking through the mall and some of them are going to be on their phones. A grandparent may be out shopping with their grandson or granddaughter and the grandson/daughter will be on their phone. So is social media beginning to ruin relationships?
