COLLEGE IN MINNESOTA IS FREE!!

Hey guys!!
I am so excited to share this with you! I had the opportunity as a part of Student Senate and Lead MN to plead for us to have FREE COLLEGE. I spoke to Amy Klobuchar, Bernie Sanders, llhan Omar and even BIDEN!! It was an amazing experience to have this opportunity to share my story of why we need free college. It was an amazing moment to sit in as they voted on passing North Star.

It is called the North Star Promise Program, and it is coming in Fall 2024! Here are the requirements to get assistance with the program.
Maximum Award Amounts
There is no maximum length of
time that students can receive
the NSP, but there are credit
limits.
For students earning a:
2-year Associate Degree:
Receive NSP up to 60 credits
4-year Bachelor’s Degree:
Receive NSP up to 120 credits
To break this down your household can’t be over $80,000 so if you live with individuals who do… it time to move. Also, this is not for private college or universities. You can’t have a Bachelor degree and you have to be a Minnesota resident. You will apply for financial aid and what the grants don’t cover then this will come into play for you. Guys!! In 2024 we no longer have to stress about how to pay for college. We can focus for classwork and having a better future!!
