George Takei (Sulu from Star Trek) is really active on social media and has started a podcast series entitled “Oh Myyy Pod!”—intended to explore “how social media influences the court of public opinion, both the good and the bad.” He describes the first episode, “Napping While Black,” which explores the “‘BBQ Becky’ phenomenon & features Dennis Parker, racial justice expert, & Lolade Siyonbola, who had the police called on her for napping in her dorm common room at Yale.”
