- I think this assistantship has helped me better understand when it comes to working with a team and taking ownership in my projects. I will need to be able to do this in the future, and this assistantship has helped me become aware of it. Overall this has been a great opportunity, and I have learned a lot; I am excited to see what I learn in the future and how this will help me in the future.
- What was your area of work when doing this Graduate Assistantship? (Ex, Social Media, Data collection,….)
- I work in the area of long-form media and social media for the Higher Education Administration Program. I work with Dr.Williams and Anthony Goettl this year, and it has been great to use my creative side and apply my logistic style.
- What is something you wish you knew before you started this Graduate Assistantship?
- I wish I knew that it was okay to make a mistake and learn from it. I worked in offices where I had to communicate more with my supervisors. This assistantship helped me take more ownership of my projects and tasks.
