*************A REGIONAL SUMMIT**************
Good afternoon –
Inver Hills Community College is hosting a regional summit focusing on alternative and affordable textbook options. Eight metro area colleges are collaborating for a full day summit to explore changes in external environmental factors impacting learning resources and student experiences, strategies to increase student success, and cost saving textbook alternatives that provide flexibility to students. There will be a wide variety of speakers and panel discussions including students, faculty, and metro area college bookstore leaders.
Discover how you can help student’s save money and improve student learning outcomes. Please join us at on Tuesday, October 14 from 9:00am-3:00pm for a look into what students want and need to make them successful, what alternatives your colleagues are successfully using, and what the Metro Bookstores are doing to help. Come for a session or two, network with colleagues over free lunch, or stay for the day – lots of alternatives!
If you could please forward to your bookstore folks, faculty, or other interested constituents. I am hoping you can assist us in getting the word out!
